Network Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure and server environments, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware and Hyper-V).
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement correction actions to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Configure and manage Windows/Linux servers, virtual machines, and cloud services (e.g. Azure).
• Ensure network and systems security through regular vulnerability assessments, patch management, and incident response.
• Collaborate with and supervise other IT team members to support end-users and optimize IT infrastructure.
• Implement and manage backup solutions and disaster recovery protocols.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and policies to support operational efficiency.
• Assist with hardware and software installations, upgrades, and system configuration as required.
• Stay updates on the latest technology trends and recommend upgrades and improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), VPNs, and firewall management.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms (VMware and Hyper-V), and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of network security practices and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
