Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Some college coursework in Business, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in data entry, order processing, customer service, or customer support. Experience managing customer orders from multiple sales channels preferred. Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) order processing and maintenance is a plus. Experience reviewing purchase orders, pricing quotations, and customer specifications.

Preferred Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, sales teams, and internal departments. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills. Self-motivated professional who can work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods. Frequent use of standard office equipment, including keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Ability to review detailed documents and enter data accurately.

Job Duties Accurately enter and process customer orders from various sales channels. Receive, interpret, and resolve customer order inquiries in a timely manner. Review purchase orders, quotations, and product specifications to ensure order accuracy. Monitor and maintain EDI orders and troubleshoot discrepancies as needed. Coordinate with customers, sales representatives, and product line teams to support order fulfillment. Manage projects and customer requirements while ensuring deadlines are met.

Maintain accurate records and provide follow-up communication regarding order status and resolutions.

What You Will Do As a Order Entry Specialist you will receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials throughout warehouse or manufacturing operations. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures. The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for safely handling materials that support manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations.
