Materials Planner & Scheduler

We are hiring a Materials Planner & Scheduler to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Troy, Ohio. This onsite role is responsible for production scheduling, materials planning, inventory control, and ensuring on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing scheduling experience
, strong ERP skills, and thrives in a hands‑on, production‑driven environment. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Troy, OH – no relocation package offered

• 15% travel required
• Plan and schedule raw materials, WIP, and production to meet customer demand
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Release and update work orders based on material availability and capacity
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, Syteline, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Track KPIs such as OTIF, schedule adherence, and inventory turns
• Partner with production, procurement, logistics, quality, and finance teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in materials planning, production scheduling, or supply chain within manufacturing
• Strong ERP/MRP system experience (Epicor, Syteline, SAP, Oracle preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• APICS / CPIM certification a plus
