Full-time / 72 hours per pay period

The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The LPN collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others.

• Administer patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contribute to implementation of patient care.
• Ensure compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
• Provide physical, emotional and spiritual support that impacts patient outcomes and care for patients/families/significant others.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration
  :
  Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license;
  Current healthcare provider BLS certification required prior to completion of orientation.
