Position:
Lead Registered Veterinary Technician – Full‑time (4–10 hour shifts, M‑F 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

Stonyridge Veterinary Services, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, is looking for a Lead RVT to manage our care team and provide end‑to‑end clinical support for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate staff duties and direct flow on the floor.
• Develop and conduct staff evaluations.
• Provide training and mentorship to veterinary technicians.
• Evaluate performance and set goals.
• Maintain open communication with staff and leadership.
• Oversee controlled substance and surgery logs.
• Handle equipment maintenance and accountability.
• Conduct disciplinary and accountability conversations with employees.

Essential qualifications:

• Registered Veterinary Technician (required).
• Minimum 3 years of veterinary experience; 1 year of leadership/management experience preferred.
• Strong veterinary skill set including surgery/anesthesia experience.
• Excellent communication skills; confident, reliable, and assertive.
• Proficient in teamwork facilitation.
