Maintenance Technician

Hiring Maintenance Techs on All Shifts $30-44/hr!!

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing precision machine repairs, and executing preventive maintenance. Your role will involve a balanced mix of 50% preventive maintenance and 50% corrective maintenance tasks. You will closely collaborate with lead technicians and production operators, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage tasks effectively. This position requires travel between plant locations in Troy, Piqua, and Kings Chapel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform precision machine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Execute a 50/50 split between preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with lead technicians and production operators.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Travel between plant locations including Troy, Piqua, and Kings Chapel.

Essential Skills

• Strong pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• Knowledge of mechanical drive systems and bearing maintenance/replacement.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical schematics and prints.
• Skilled in using multimeters and electrical test equipment.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical control systems.
• Comfortable working at heights using proper safety equipment.
• Ability to logically analyze cause-and-effect situations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with good tenure.
• 2-year Electronics degree preferred (electro-mechanical strongly preferred).
• Experience with measurement, layout, drilling, reaming, threading, welding.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to pursue additional education related to electrical controls.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility with a team-oriented and collaborative atmosphere. The role offers strong job stability and opportunities for continued learning and growth. Shift details vary by location:
Troy - 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM, working alongside two other techs;
Piqua - 3rd Shift, Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, as the sole technician in the facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
