Job Summary
As the Club Manager, you'll own sales performance goals and new client acquisition for your facility. You’ll work with each potential client to understand their background, goals, and motivations on their health journey. With this understanding, you'll build trust and identify solutions to help each customer achieve a healthier life. The club manager is passionate about helping members and guests improve their lives through health and fitness.
This role involves managing daily operations, welcoming guests and members, selling memberships and training services, and leading staff to work cohesively. It requires self-motivation, leadership, collaboration, communication, and positive influence.
Responsibilities
- Membership + training sales – a core part of the role is centered around membership and training sales. Managers must qualify, inform, inspire, and convert leads into members.
- Brand promoters – establishing relationships with local businesses and influencers to promote the brand through B2B marketing. Also, coordinating engagement campaigns, marketing efforts, and community outreach with assets created by Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
- Team builders – leading and motivating a team to foster a positive, trusting environment that members and guests want to engage with.
- Day-to-day operations – handling operational tasks such as running reports, cleaning, etc., as needed.
- Culture creators – creating an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences, delivering excellent customer service, and aiming to improve lives.
Qualifications
- Experience in the fitness industry is not required, but good communication and soft skills are essential.
- 18 years or older
- Friendly, outgoing, and warm
- Genuine and honest
- Available to work flexible hours (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends)
- Technologically savvy
- Self-motivated
- Good time and schedule management
