Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist for our Trumbull, CT location.

- Implement accurate, safe, patient‑centric anesthetic care.
- Professional Skill
- Understand physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations; monitor vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry per ASA guidelines.

Education
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
Completion of a CSRAN program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.
• Current State of Connecticut Nursing License, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in Connecticut.
Experience
• Preferable clinical experience as a CRNA within the specialty/service line; none required. APRNs, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs must be credentialed through the YNHHS Medical Staff process and have evidence of current competence via reference letters.
Licensure
• AANA Certification, State of CT RN and APRN license, ACLS, DEA registration and State of CT Controlled Substance registration.
Special Skills
• Sharp concentration, calm under stress, clear communication with surgeons, surgical team, patients and families. Immediate and responsive anesthesia patient management, flexibility and adaptability.
Physical Demands
• Ability to perform complex cognitive, motor, and sensory tasks; stand for long periods; lift up to 25 pounds; move patients and equipment; manage anesthesia equipment; maintain equilibrium and functional use of senses.
