Yale New Haven Health in Trumbull, CT is looking for a Certified Nurse Anesthetist.
This Certified Nurse Anesthetist role involves providing anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures in a 24/7 model, with in‑house call responsibilities including off‑shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist – completion of a Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program; graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs. Current State of Connecticut Nursing License and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the State of Connecticut.
ExperiencePrefer clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line recommended, but none required. APRNs, PAs, CRNAs, and CNMs are required to be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process. Evidence of current competence to practice as an APRN, PA, CRNA, or CNM via appropriate reference letters from physicians and other practitioners must be obtainable during the Medical Staff appointment process to be eligible.
LicensureCertified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (AANA Certification), State of CT RN and APRN license, ACLS DEA Registration, and State of CT Controlled Substance Registration.
Special SkillsSharp concentration, focus, ability to stay calm under stressful conditions, excellent communication with surgeons, surgical support team, patients, and families, calm and reassuring manner, immediate and responsive anesthetic patient management, flexibility and adaptability.
Physical DemandDemonstrates intellectual-conceptual, integrative and quantitative abilities; observation, communication, and motor functions; mature behavioral and social attributes; sensory acuity; ability to stand for long periods and wear lead as needed; ability to lift 25 pounds and reach above and below shoulder height; ability to move patients and negotiate patient care environments.
