As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll play a crucial role in creating the best customer experience for our fans. You’ll support store leadership by meeting sales targets, ensuring visual standards, and helping new recruits succeed.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return by using strong product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Step in and provide leadership support when the Store Manager is pulled away.
• Understand the store sales plan and contribution sales goals and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure assigned areas are up to visual standards, and help with opening and closing the store.
• Work the register; process sales transactions and use fandom knowledge to drive add‑on sales, close out the register, and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and respective HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to ensure no misuse of spells and wizardry around theft.
• Support maintenance of the stock room and keep the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed to help them acclimate quickly.
• Perform any other activities as assigned by the Store Leader.

• Previous experience working in a retail environment. If you love music and pop culture, you’re in the right place!
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours, reach for merchandise using a ladder, step stool, and pole, and move boxes of up to 50 pounds.
