Our client provides sales, marketing, and customer engagement solutions focused on the health insurance industry. They are a well‑established company specializing in customer acquisition and retention, with a strong presence across multiple locations. They are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers in modernizing and enhancing our clients’ online and backend platforms using .NET technologies. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.
SoftwareEngineering Manager’s Responsibilities And Duties
- Oversee and lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Define technical strategies and best practices for modernizing legacy systems and developing new solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and implement software design principles, security best practices, and performance optimizations.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related industry experience.
- Expertise in C# and .NET technologies, including .NET Core and ASP.NET.
- At least 5 years of hands‑on development experience including coding, maintenance, architecture and design.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a strong technical culture.
