Personal Trainer

The Lakewood-Trumbull Y is seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Trainer to join our Health and Wellness team. This role supports our mission of fostering a welcoming and inclusive community by providing personalized, safe, and effective training programs for individuals of all skill levels. The Personal Trainer is responsible for guiding participants through fitness routines, modifying programs to meet individual needs, and maintaining a positive and encouraging environment.

This position plays a key role in promoting health and wellness while building strong relationships with members.

• Certification: Current Personal Training Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACSM, ACE, or NSCA).
• Experience: Minimum one year of experience as a personal trainer preferred.
• Skills: Ability to demonstrate and instruct proper fitness techniques, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to helping others achieve their health goals.
• Certifications (Required at Hire):
  CPR/AED and First Aid

• Must obtain YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
