A growing and leading firm of chartered accountants based in Truro is looking for a Senior Accountant - Professional Practices to join their team. You will carve a role within this growing sector with excellent career progression prospects.

This is a highly regarded, fast‑growing chartered firm of accountants based in Truro. They act for a wide range of clients, having identified a key area of growth within their Professional Services and legal sector client base, with structured plans and investment in place to further develop this service line. The firm is looking to bolster the team with individuals at part‑qualified, finalist, and qualified levels, with genuine opportunities for progression.

As a Senior Accountant - Professional Practices based in the firm’s offices in Truro, you will prepare and review statutory annual accounts for limited companies and limited liability partnerships, and handle associated tax computations. There is opportunity to be involved in SAR and advisory project work, identifying areas for tax planning and accounting advisory work with clients.

• Part‑qualified, finalist, or qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Up to 1–2 years or more post‑qualified experience.
• Experience preparing year‑end accounts, tax returns, and related services.
• Experience with solicitors/legal‑profession clients is advantageous; experience in other industry sectors is also of interest.
• Looking for a career move with scope for progression and increased responsibility, client contact and technical development.
