AAT Part​/Qualified Accountant

To fulfil this role you must have a natural ability to be efficient, accurate and be at your best working within a team. You will be a key part of the production team and will be involved in the preparation of accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You’ll get to know a full range of cloud based softwares.

Full in-house training will be provided on all our systems to get you up to speed and producing the excellent quality of work we are renowned for.

Further training and career progression is possible for the right candidate, and we are certified training providers for both ACCA & ICAEW.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Assisting in the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to review level.
• Preparing and finalising self-assessment tax returns.
• Preparing interim management accounts for clients.
• Providing Xero training to our clients.
• Performing ad-hoc tasks to meet the needs of our clients.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:

• You should feel confident working both independently, and supporting and working with the team as a whole to meet our targets and deliver work for our clients.
• You should feel comfortable multi-tasking when required.
• A fine eye for detail to produce accurate and reliable information.
• A methodical and organised approach to work.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, to be able to contribute in team meetings to better understand our business as a whole.
• A drive and commitment to fully commit and achieve in whatever task is set.
• A track record of passing exams with high marks.
• Fully or part AAT qualified.
• Good working knowledge of all main Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel.
• At least 18 months experience working in the accounting field.
