A successful accountancy practice based in Truro is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team preparing year end accounts, tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax, along with wider responsibilities. You will have opportunity to progress within this successful firm.

Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firm's Truro offices you will be responsible for the preparation of year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance. You will have a clear opportunity to progress, taking on increasing responsibility, assisting with the development of junior staff, reviewing work, and acting in a mentoring and training capacity. You will also have scope to take on increasing client contract and responsibility, working with the management and wider partner team on project, planning and advisory project work as you develop within the firm.

For this Senior Accountant role you may be qualified (or have a qualification) in AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, etc., or have developed your career through experience only. You should have a career background within accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients. You will have progressed to around the Senior Accountant level and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity.

Full or part‑time working hours can be explored, mouldable around preferences of the right candidate, with mix of home to office and hybrid working.

£29,000 – £36,000, plus dependent on background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
