We're recruiting an Accounts Assistant Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Truro.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior or Assistant Manager looking to take the next step in their career, managing a varied client portfolio and gaining greater responsibility across accounts, tax and business advisory.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
Review statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations
Review VAT returns and other compliance work
Lead client assignments and ensure deadlines and budgets are met
Provide accounting, tax and commercial advice to clients
Identify opportunities to deliver additional services
Monitor WIP, budgets and assignment profitability
Liaise with HMRC and other professional advisers
