Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients Review statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations Review VAT returns and other compliance work Lead client assignments and ensure deadlines and budgets are met Provide accounting, tax and commercial advice to clients Identify opportunities to deliver additional services Monitor WIP, budgets and assignment profitability Liaise with HMRC and other professional advisers Support Partners and Managers with client meetings Coach, mentor and develop junior team members Build strong, long-term client relationships About You ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent Strong accountancy practice experience Experience managing a portfolio of clients Good technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax Experience reviewing accounts and supervising junior staff Strong communication and client relationship skills Commercially aware and proactive Excellent organisation and time management skills Confident dealing directly with clients Keen to develop your career within a progressive accountancy practice What's on Offer Hybrid and flexible working Varied SME and owner-managed business portfolio Accounts, tax and advisory exposure Increased responsibility and client ownership Training and professional development Clear career progression Supportive and collaborative team Competitive salary and benefits Location Truro, Cornwall , commutable from Falmouth, Penryn, Redruth, Camborne, St Agnes and Penzance .
