Our client, a well-established dealership specialising in passenger cars, is actively looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team in Truro, Cornwall.   • Competitive basic salary of up to £32,000 per annum
  • OTE of approximately £36,000 inclusive of performance bonuses
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, typically between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, with some shifts ending at 5:00 pm or 5:30 pm
  • Only one in four Saturdays, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, paid as part of the salary

Duties of the Vehicle Technician
  • Servicing and repairing a wide range of passenger cars to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults and performing diagnostic tests
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Accurate completion of all service reports, job cards, and documentation
  • Working efficiently to meet workshop productivity targets
  • Contributing positively to team goals and dealership reputation
Candidate requirements
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician
  • Minimum of two years’ workshop experience within a dealership or similar environment
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Motivated to deliver top-quality service and customer care
  • Previous dealership experience is highly desirable
