Are you passionate about French language and culture? Do you enjoy helping young people develop their confidence and communication skills?

Truro and Penwith College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Foreign Language Assistant to support students studying French. Working closely with our Modern Foreign Languages team, you will help learners improve their spoken French, build confidence in communication, and prepare for examinations and future progression opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a native-level French speaker, or someone educated to degree level in French, to make a real difference to students' learning experiences through one-to-one and small group speaking sessions.

• Excellent spoken and written French
• Strong knowledge of French grammar and culture
• Ability to encourage and motivate young people to achieve their potential
• Experience of working with young people or within an educational environment is advantageous but not essential
