Financial Accountant - Truro - Up to £45,000 + Hybrid Working

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who’s ambitious, driven, and ready to progress quickly within a high-growth Finance team.

• Take ownership of day-to-day finance activity, ensuring key accounting entries and controls are maintained to a high standard
• Keep group accounts running smoothly by supporting month-end routines and contributing to a fast, accurate close
• Play a hands‑on role in improving finance processes, tightening controls and strengthening financial insight
• Handle core compliance activity, including VAT/CIS and ensure a strong accounting framework is maintained
• Act as an important link during audits, preparing clean information and supporting efficient reviews
• Support payroll accuracy and ensure the finance team has reliable data flowing into the accounts
• Get involved in systems and automation projects, helping the finance function scale with the business

• Practice experience is essential – ideally with audit exposure, and a solid understanding of professional accounting standards
• Studying toward ACCA/CIMA or another recognised accounting qualification
• Confident working with accounts, financial controls and compliance processes
• Someone proactive, curious and ready to grow with a fast-moving finance function
