Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site position for a Financial Controller based in Truro. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing financial statements, preparing accurate financial reports, overseeing accounting operations, and contributing to the organisation's financial strategy and planning. The role also entails monitoring budgets and financial performance, analysing data for informed decision‑making, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications- Strong foundation in financial statements, financial reporting, and accounting practices
- Advanced analytical skills to assess financial data and inform business decisions
- Comprehensive knowledge of finance and financial management principles
- Proven experience with budget management, regulatory compliance, and financial planning
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (required)
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA are advantageous
