This is a full-time post working an average of 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and late evenings on a rota.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure urgent medicines are received into the Trust and that fluids and feeds are stored and supplied according to the high standards set out by our wholesale dealer's licence.
• Cover the priority porter role on a planned basis.
• Perform routine operations of the pharmacy robot.
• Support the procurement officer in the purchase of medicine supplies for the Trust.
• Utilise the computerised pharmacy stock control system for ordering and receipt of medicine.
• Work as a member of the pharmacy stores team to ensure pharmacy goods are received into the Trust and that fluids and feeds are provided to clinical areas.
• Maintain the pharmacy store to a high standard.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work under our wholesale distributors authorisation providing fluid and feeds to our external customers.
• Ensure pharmacy goods are received into the Trust and that fluids and feeds are provided to clinical areas.
