Salary: Up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37.5 Hours, Monday – Friday 08:30am – 16:30pm

Contract: Permanent (Term time only)

The role: We are looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team at Oaktree School. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working, guiding practice within an education setting and clarifying your roles and responsibilities while meeting governing and professional body requirements.

You will hold a Speech and Language Therapy caseload with full support from your clinical supervisor and site lead, and will also contribute to staff training and consultation as required.

Essential Criteria
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC or equivalent professional body registration
  • At least 2 years of experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT working in a similar setting
  • Relevant experience engaging with individuals presenting with complex and diverse communication profiles
  • Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice
  • Experience of multi‑disciplinary working in a range of settings
  • Experience communicating with families, relatives and carers
  • Interest in developing knowledge and skills in different areas of SaLT practice
