Position: Functional Assessor at Advo Health

Position Summary

Functional Assessor at Advo Health in Truro, ENG, GB – Full time, hybrid role (up to 3 days face‑to‑face, remainder remote) with a salary of £42,000.00 per annum.

Every assessment you complete plays an important role in ensuring claimants feel listened to, treated respectfully and supported throughout their journey.

Responsibilities
  • Hold telephone, video or in‑person consultations with claimants
  • Assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
  • Apply clinical reasoning to understand how health impacts daily living
  • Use strong IT and written communication skills to listen and produce accurate, evidence‑based reports
  • Work closely with your manager to support your development as a Functional Assessor
Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered healthcare professional with at least 12 months post‑registration experience
  • Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Paramedics
  • Pharmacists
  • Full registration with NMC, HCPC or GPhC required
  • Confidence using IT systems alongside clinical judgement
  • No prior Functional Assessor experience required – full training provided
Salaries & Benefits

Salary: £42,000.00 per annum
