Support Worker, Caregiver

Typical days include supporting people to access the community for activities such as:

• Pub lunches in local towns like Falmouth & Truro
• Cinema trips
• Walks
• National trust visits
• Ice creams
• Trips to the barbers
• Shiatsu massage
• Dance class
• Horse riding
• Sailing
• Bus trips

We're looking for someone who is

• Compassionate, caring, and professional
• Positive, calm, and motivated
• Dedicated to supporting people to live independently

Experience in care is helpful but not essential-we welcome applicants with transferable skills and the right values.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Care Certificate or Health & Social Care qualification
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism

Carrick is a small, friendly residential service supporting up to 5 individuals, currently home to 4 people we support. We specialise in supporting adults over 50 with learning disabilities, autism, and physical needs including cerebral palsy.
