Support Worker - Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs (Female Only)
Day Service | Truro (TR4)
We are recruiting a compassionate  female Support Worker  to join a specialist day service supporting adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex health needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, experienced team delivering meaningful, person-centred support in a structured daytime environment.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role - you must have the right to work in the UK to apply.
Package
£13.31 per hour (days)
Part-time contract (16+ hours)
Day shifts only
Paid induction, shadowing and specialist training
Ongoing learning and development
Supportive management team

Responsibilities
Supporting adults with PMLD and complex health needs
Delivering person-centred support within a day service
Assisting with personal care, moving and handling and daily routines
Supporting activities that promote engagement and wellbeing
Following detailed care and support plans
Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate records
Promoting dignity, choice and independence
Requirements
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities preferred
Female applicants only due to service user requirements
Comfortable providing personal care
Driver not essential
Compassionate, patient and reliable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Right to work in the UK
