Salary £27k to £35k depending on experience
Hybrid working in Truro, Cornwall.
My client are a leading UK Insurance Systems rovider that provides multi-channel software to the global insurance industry. They are looking to hire a Junior Support Analyst to work on Supporting their client facing business applications.
This company are in the process of building out a technical team in Cornwall, so are looking for candidates who can work hybrid in their brand new Truro offices. This role will be one or two days per week in office, the rest working remotely. Be part of a new Silicon Cornwall initiative to bring tech companies to the West Country!
My client are looking for a highly inquisitive Junior Support Analyst ideally with some knowledge of SQL and with excellent communication and organisational skills. Ideally you will have some exposure to web based IT solutions to help further develop their innovative and complex insurance solutions. As the role is very immersive they will expect you to be unafraid of challenges and asking questions.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals to learn the overall software development cycle and how different departments are interlinked. You will be given access to high quality training that will not only teach technical knowledge but mindset. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior members of their team and interact with high-profile customers from within the insurance sector.
As a Junior Support Analyst, you will be given training learn to diagnose and evaluate software faults raised by the clients. Able to review technical specification documents and confirm they’re in line with current software functionality, assess data integrity issues and create data-fixes using SQL as well as dissecting log files to aid in your diagnosis of faults
You will be part of a successful team responsible for the delivery and support of Enterprise scale Insurance applications across multiple Global Insurance clients which requires a skilled & confident person wanting to make their mark in a diverse, fast moving and expanding team.
Required Personal Attributes

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills - to work with clients and other Sabrefish teams
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Focused and driven individual, using own initiative to identify opportunities to drive improvements.
* Ability to multi task
* Fast Learner
Preferred experience:
* Some exposure to SQL
* Previous experience with dealing with Clients
* Some exposure to IT systems development or usage
Any experience in the following would be great:
* Some experience of working in the insurance sector
* Familiarity with Help Desk systems (e.g MSP) and Testing Tools (Spira Team) although training will be given
