A leading engineering and design consultancy is looking for an experienced Associate Director
- Town Planning to join their team in London or Epsom. Responsibilities of Associate Director
- Town Planning:
Act as Planning Lead on projects across a range of markets and sectors Lead bid preparation, tender submissions, and framework responses Act as lead consultant on multi-disciplinary projects, taking responsibility for project management and delivery Lead coordination and delivery of EIA, options appraisals, and environmental management across multi-disciplinary teams Engage with market and client leads to support business growth and development opportunities Support commercial and resource management of projects, bids, and local teams Champion high standards of technical delivery, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental outcomes Mentor and support junior colleagues within the planning team Essential Requirements for Associate Director
- Town Planning :
Relevant Planning degree with RTPI membership or working towards Chartered experience with a track record delivering major infrastructure projects Experience leading large-scale TCPA applications and holding lead roles within DCO, Hybrid Bill, Highways Act, or TWAO processes Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertise Experience in Strategic Planning and Planning policy Strong commercial coordination and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain client relationships Highly self-motivated with strong commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes
