We’re looking for motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Neonatal Nurses to join our team. While leadership experience is an advantage, it’s not essential—we also welcome applications from senior Band 5 nurses ready to progress. With full training and support provided, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise, grow into a leadership role, and make a real difference in neonatal care.

• Provide safe, effective and efficient management of the neonatal unit within allocated resources.
• Promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence‑based practice.
• Regularly undertake delegated responsibility for the department in the absence of NNU Sisters and Unit Manager.
• Serve as a clinical expert within the speciality, offering all aspects of nursing care at intensive, high dependency and special care levels.
• Ensure the provision of excellent, evidence‑based care for infants and their families.
• Assess each infant and plan, implement and evaluate care in negotiation with the family, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Promote Family‑Centred Care and create a welcoming, caring and safe environment for infants and their families.
• Act as an advocate for the infant and family, ensuring provision of appropriate information and support services.
