Exciting opportunity within the Research & Development Directorate as a Research Nurse on the Rapid Response and Education team. You will deliver and clinically manage your own portfolio of academic and commercial research studies, support investigators, provide education about research, and gain clinical knowledge across specialist conditions.

• Provide excellent research monitoring and care to consenting participants.
• Coordinate clinical aspects of trials under guidance of senior staff.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive research records.
• Develop processes to maximise recruitment of patients.
• Support and develop research staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as MHRA.
• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and relationship building.

• Registered to degree level or with demonstrable experience.
• Understanding of valid informed consent.
• Computer literacy.
• Knowledge of research regulatory requirements.

• Ability to manage own workload with guidance.
• Experience dealing with confidential patient information.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Relevant clinical skills.
• Previous clinical research experience.

• Understanding of complete and accurate data collection.
• Ability to maintain professional standards and behaviours.
• Motivating staff positively.

• Previous experience of receiving informed consent.
• Previous use of databases.

• Band 5
• Salary:
