Position

Store Manager – H. Samuel – Truro

As Store Manager here at H. Samuel in Truro you will be responsible for achieving the store’s targets through promoting a sales culture in‑store, building and inspiring a strong customer‑first team, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

You will also be responsible for consistent compliance with company instructions, policies and processes, control of costs, payroll, shrinkage and expenses for the store, and will oversee the planning and organisation of operational activities within the store.

We encourage our Store Managers to lead their teams boldly, by showing them the way and inspiring them, thereby creating a sense of pride and willingness to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the store achieves its targets and promotes a sales culture in‑store.
  • Build, coach and inspire a strong customer‑first team.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Control costs, payroll, shrinkage and expenses.
  • Plan and organise operational activities within the store.
Qualifications
  • An excellent track record of successfully achieving KPI's.
  • Experience holding accountability for managing the commercial performance of a store.
  • Experience leading store teams.
  • Experience with target‑setting and interpreting business data.
  • Ability to inspire, coach and develop the team to maximise potential and performance.
  • Proven track record of role‑modelling and consistently delivering amazing customer experiences.
  • Clear passion for our products and a customer‑centric mindset.
  • A competitive spirit.
  • Basic knowledge of legislative responsibilities such as recruitment, employment law, health and safety, trading standards.
