General Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to join a well-established dealership in Truro, Cornwall. • Competitive basic salary of £35,000 per annum
• On-target earnings (OTE) approximately £62,000 annually
• Leadership role with opportunities to shape sales strategies
• Working Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week
• Supportive team environment with ongoing training and professional development
• Opportunity to lead and expand a successful dealership

• Oversee and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed individual and dealership targets
• Manage daily sales operations, ensuring exceptional customer service standards
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share
• Provide training, coaching, and support to sales executives and apprentices
• Regularly report sales performance and progress to senior management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business

• Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or Senior Sales Professional within the motor trade or automotive sales environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Demonstrable track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets
• Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
• Full UK driving licence
