Vargo is recruiting for an established asset finance business seeking a motivated telephone sales professional to generate new business opportunities and book quality meetings for its finance brokers.

You will contact businesses, build rapport with decision makers and identify their asset finance needs. This role suits someone who enjoys outbound calling, handles objections confidently and takes ownership of their sales pipeline.

• Make cold and warm calls to prospective business customers.
• Identify decision makers and develop a pipeline of opportunities.
• Understand customer needs and arrange quality meetings for finance brokers.
• Handle objections and adapt your approach to each customer.
• Work with the sales manager on targeted campaigns and support marketing activity.
• Use market and competitor knowledge to identify opportunities.
• Complete required training and apply the relevant conduct rules.

• Previous sales or telesales experience.
• Motivation to achieve targets and a strong sales focus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good business sense, organisation and initiative.
• A positive attitude and resilience when handling setbacks.
