Wholesale Manager

Full time Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 - some weekend work will be required for trade shows and events.

Band D £13.72 - £17.79 after probation

Ancient Mariner is a furniture wholesale company supplying retailers across the UK and also our sister company Uneeka. We currently operate as a small team based in Threemilestone, Truro.

We have an exciting opportunity and working with the right person, this role has the potential for growth. We’re looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and is willing to get stuck in and help us grow the business by developing strong B2B relationships, managing key accounts, and expanding our wholesale footprint.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing policies and procedures
• Ensure high levels of customer service to our B2B customers.
• Managing the warehouse operation
• Looking for new opportunities to take the business forward
• Managing office and warehouse supplies, equipment and services.
• Receiving and processing orders from B2B customers via the telephone and online.
• Creating basic financial and sales reports
• Basic accounting duties, including resolving billing questions and managing invoices and due payments
• Managing the day-to-day sales, marketing and communication which could include; data reporting, customer calls, sales planning, social media and content development and creation.
• Coordinating on the development of new products and planning/managing their launch into new markets.
• Stock taking
• Trade Show planning and organisation and coordination
• Management of warehouse person(s)
