Recovery Worker - Women's Service
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker to join our Women's Service in Mid Cornwall. The role focuses on supporting women across the county with diverse and complex needs, helping them engage in treatment related to substance use, healthy relationships, and mental and emotional health.
Key responsibilities- Provide trauma‐informed recovery support to women in Cornwall using an outreach model.
- Assess, plan and review client progress, maintaining accurate case records.
- Work collaboratively with multi‐agency partners, including outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and residential rehabilitation services.
- Support women in developing sustainable pathways to achieve personal goals.
- Assist with occasional Saturdays and flexible working arrangements as required.
- Participate in team meetings, training and professional development.
- Attained ONC/NVQ Level 3 or willing to achieve within 12 months.
- Demonstrable experience working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice or a related setting.
- Track record of working with people who have experienced substance misuse.
- Driving licence with access to a vehicle.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time‐management skills.
- Team‐orientated, resilient under pressure and flexible with working hours.
- IT competent.
- Maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Support other With You locations when required.
