NSCC is looking for a College & Career Prep Coordinator for a term position in Truro, Nova Scotia. This role requires a commitment to student success, focusing on skills development, career planning, and educational support. You will work alongside students, leveraging your three-plus years of experience in a post-secondary environment to guide them through their academic and career journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate career planning and exploration activities for students
• Assist with financial and practical commitments for college success
• Support students nearing program completion with career plans
• Collaborate with academic schools on student support initiatives
• Contribute to onboarding experiences and promotional events
Requirements:
• Community College diploma in a relevant field
• Minimum three years' experience in a post-secondary setting
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proven event coordination experience
• Familiarity with digital tools and technology
