Midland Transport seeks a reliable Class 1 Yard Shunt Driver with a strong work ethic. In this full-time position, you will skillfully manage trailer movements, conduct routine checks, and refuel refrigerated units as needed. Your focus on safety and efficiency will ensure timely operations and excellent communication with supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Move trailers safely within the terminal
• Perform routine checks on refrigerated units
• Maintain company equipment standards
• Ensure timely trailer movement to assigned locations
• Report incidents and communicate with supervisors
Requirements:
• Class 1 driver’s license and 2 years driving experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Clean driver’s abstract and background check
• Good communication skills
• Safety conscious with excellent reliability
