Our Nova Scotia location is a modern, fully equipped 6,200 sq. ft. facility thoughtfully designed with patient comfort and advanced technology at its core. With 14 operatories and a dedicated dental surgery suite, the spacious layout creates a welcoming environment for patients while giving our team the cutting‑edge tools and ample space needed to deliver exceptional care.
We are currently hiring for a July 27th 2026 opening.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Millbrook, Nova Scotia. This is a full‑time, on‑site position focused on providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and supportive clinical environment.
The Dental Hygienist will play a key role in delivering preventive oral care and supporting overall patient health. Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and patient education, while working closely with dentists and the broader clinical team to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs and treatment outcomes
Perform all aspects of clinical preventive hygiene services, including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride application, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting
Educate patients on oral hygiene and personalized care strategies
Deliver a consistent, high‑quality patient experience during each hygiene visit
Build and maintain patient relationships by providing a tailored experience aligned with individual expectations
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict infection control protocols
Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications Registered and in good standing with the applicable provincial dental hygiene regulatory body
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Valid CPR certification
Strong communication and patient education skills
Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient‑first approach
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
