The Institute of Skilled Trades is seeking a faculty member for Related Subjects for the term commencing December 1, 2026. Candidates must possess a relevant undergraduate degree and have at least five years of recent occupational experience. You'll be instrumental in delivering both theoretical and practical instruction, utilizing Learning Management Systems to enhance the academic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in Trades Math and Industry Readiness courses
• Collaborate to design educational experiences for diverse learners
• Advise on academic and career paths for students
• Liaise with business and industry for program support
• Ensure health and safety compliance in labs and classrooms
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree with major in Communications/Math or Red Seal
• Minimum of five years of related occupational experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusive education
• Experience in adult education is an asset
