Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and acute care facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and the ability to work effectively with pediatric patients. The Respiratory Therapist will play a crucial role in assessing, treating, and educating patients with respiratory conditions.

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate respiratory function and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with respiratory issues.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, medication usage, and home care techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning according to safety standards.

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to respiratory care.
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols specific to respiratory therapy.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
