Hands-On IT Operations Manager

Lead the IT support team at Kerr Smart Energy as an IT Operations Manager in Truro. Oversee projects, manage resources, and drive improvements in technology efficiency while working on-site 3 to 4 days a week.

Kerr Smart Energy is looking for a results-driven IT Operations and Projects Manager to blend leadership with technical expertise. This role involves guiding IT support and programming resources while contributing to key business initiatives and ensuring operational excellence. You will be instrumental in enhancing stability and security across all IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT projects from planning to successful implementation

• Partner with business leaders to align tech initiatives

• Manage day-to-day IT operations and service delivery

• Provide leadership and coaching to IT Support team members

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in IT or Computer Science

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking

• Experience in software development oversight

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
