Position Overview
The Supply Chain Manager oversees all aspects of managing Inland Group’s supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, vendor selection, and distribution of finished goods. The role ensures that all purchasing policies and procedures are in place, guarantees fairness to all vendors and suppliers, and upholds the highest ethical standards.

- Oversees and leads the operations of the supply chain department, setting goals, expectations, and providing guidance, assistance, training, and development to staff.
- Develops and implements a strategy to ensure critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
- Negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing.
- Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends, and forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
- Develops short‑ and long‑range plans for all purchases, coordinating dates and times for supplier quotes, competitive bids, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Monitors and analyzes internal costs and market trends to uncover sourcing and supplier consolidation opportunities.
- Drafts, explains, and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management.
- Performs cost, price, and value analysis.
- Partnered with internal leadership and business units to establish sourcing strategies.
- Evaluates and develops strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain.
- Evaluates supplied proposals and implements proper contracts with emphasis on quality, cost, delivery, and performance.
- Performs/Completes additional projects, duties, and assignments as required or requested.
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in a large enterprise.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMA) designation.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in manufacturing and supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP/MRP systems, inventory management software, and demand planning tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions within procurement policies.
Professional office environment using standard office equipment.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to remain seated for extended periods of time using a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
