Job Description
Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 7 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the successful candidate will be a results-driven, self‑starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
It is a SEASONAL position starting in the beginning of April for a term of 8–10 weeks.

Responsibilities- Safely operate a Skid‑Steer and Forklift
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Operate and load fertilizer blender accurately
- Transport raw materials to production workstations.
- Blend and prepare product for shipment
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
- All other related duties as assigned
- Proficiency and proven experience in using a forklift to move heavy loads
- Able to lift 55 lb bags
- Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
- Mechanical aptitude and previous experience working in manufacturing or farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language proficiently.
