Your role will encompass comprehensive safety measures through monitoring and customer interaction.
As a Healthcare Security Officer, you'll patrol hospital premises, operate surveillance systems, and manage controlled access points. Rapid response to emergencies and conflict resolution will also be critical to your duties. Your proactive actions will ensure a secure, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular rounds of all hospital areas
• Monitor security cameras for suspicious activity
• Enforce access control for restricted zones
• Assist in emergencies, maintaining safety protocols
• Resolve conflicts professionally and amicably
Requirements:
• Capability to acquire Nova Scotia Security License
• Certification in Intermediate First Aid & CPR - Level C
• Strong fluency in English, both written and oral
• Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role is a plus
• Knowledge in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior
