Armour is looking for a reliable Class 1 Truck Driver for day shifts in Truro, NS. Prioritize safety and excellent customer service while managing regional deliveries and pickups.

This full-time, permanent role involves performing regional deliveries and ensuring that freight is loaded and unloaded safely. To qualify, you must hold a valid Class 1 License and maintain a clean driving record with a minimum of two years' experience driving tractor-trailers. The ability to drive manual transmission trucks is beneficial and familiarity with routes in the area is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute scheduled pick-ups and deliveries efficiently

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles following all regulations

• Load and unload freight with precision and care

• Document and scan deliveries using handheld devices

• Communicate with dispatch and clients clearly for timely service

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 License and clean driving abstract

• 2+ years of safe driving experience with trucks

• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes

• Capability to work independently and manage time

• Experience with freight handling equipment is advantageous
