Drive safely and support the education community as a School Bus Driver in the Veteran Area for the  school year. Conduct inspections and maintain compliance every day.

The ideal School Bus Driver will ensure safe transportation for students while building positive relationships with them and their families. This probationary position begins at the start of the school year, offering training for a Class 2 driver's license and necessary endorsements. Preference will be given to candidates with existing qualifications and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a school bus safely for student transport

• Conduct thorough pre-and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate driving records and compliance standards

• Establish positive relationships with students and staff

• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Alberta Operator's License

• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract for safety compliance

• Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to student safety and well-being
