Introduction The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education invites applications for BUS DRIVERS for the Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education encompassing Colchester, East Hants, Pictou, and Cumberland Counties (Cobequid, Celtic, Nova and Chignecto Families of Schools).

• Casual as needed basis, with no guaranteed hours of work

• Morning pick-up and drop-off of students: 6:30am to 9:30am approximately
• Afternoon pick-up and drop-off of students: 1:45pm to 4:45pm approximately

• Minimum of Grade 12 high school diploma or academic equivalent through educational programs such as a Graduated Equivalent Diploma (GED)
• Must hold a valid driver's license, Class 2B with Air Certification
• Provide a satisfactory Driver Abstract (obtained from the Registry of Motor Vehicles), as applicable

Closing Notes Where needed, prospective candidates will be required to successfully complete the Driver Training Program conducted by Pupil Transportation staff before commencing employment in any Bus Driver position. Successful applicants will be required to provide a Child Abuse Registry Check and a Criminal Records Check prior to commencing employment.

Location of school bus parking as determined by the Centre for Education, bus runs/routes, and assignment of additional duties are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the employer.
