Are you a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate who loves working with designs and technology? Join Lexicon as an Entry-Level Construction Estimator and learn how engineering drawings become real-world building systems.
You’ll work with innovative materials like insulated metal panels and single skin systems, using tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, MS Project, and Procore while learning from seasoned professionals in construction and design.
What You’ll Do- Review design drawings and use AutoCAD and Revit to create takeoffs and layouts.
- Analyze blueprints and calculate material and labor costs.
- Use Bluebeam to mark up plans and coordinate estimates.
- Support scheduling and project planning in MS Project.
- Manage drawings and bid documents using Procore.
- Work closely with engineers, estimators, and project managers to learn every step of the process.
- A Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; exposure to Bluebeam, Revit, MS Project, and Procore a plus.
- Great attention to detail and strong math skills.
- A willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a hands‑on environment.
