Government Jobs - Full-Time - Depends on Qualifications Police Officers are responsible for maintaining law and order and protecting life and property by responding to emergency situations, and proactively patrolling the City of Trussville to both deter and enforce criminal and traffic laws. Police Officers will be exposed to dangerous situations and should be able to use good judgement to act without direct supervision when encountering emergency situations all while staying within departmental, state, and federal policy and laws.
Police Officers are required to have a substantial knowledge of law enforcement methods and state and local codes to perform their duties.
