Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and experience in a construction or manufacturing environment. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and specifications.

Duties
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components.
  • Utilize a MIG welder.
  • Weld vertical, flat, and overhead as well as in awkward positions such as laying or kneeling down.
  • Operate acetylene torches.
  • Basic operation of a robotic weld cell.
  • Occasionally operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Work 10 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Pay and Shift

$22 to $30 per hour plus a 10% shift premium. 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM to 1:00 AM.

Experience and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of welding experience, or vocational schooling in a related field.
  • Proven experience in welding within a construction site or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques and basic math skills for accurate measurements.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes including plasma cutting and press brake machine operation.
  • Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machining processes.
  • Experience in soldering and assembly tasks.
